FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It just depends on how many pets they have to take care of, how long the customer wants you there and how far away they are from my area. (For grooming) the size, the cut, the matting and the behavior of the pet.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I sat up a meet and greet to see what the new customer wants me to do. Also to meet the pet/s to make sure I can handle them. I do like to check out the area to make sure it is safe. Answer any questions they may have and get the answers for my records. (If grooming) find out the cut they want, check out the pets behavior and what condition the pets coat is in. Then of course the price.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained in pet care by a vet. I learned to be a vet tech, an assist in sugery, all about the kennel work and in the office. I went to school to learn about grooming pets. I have always had dogs, cats, and even horses. I am always reading about new things for them.
