Read reviews that mention:
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is pretty flexible based on a needs basis. Need portraits for school but working with a college student budget? I can work with that! Starving artist that needs a headshot for movie audition? I can work with that! Want that free free just cause? I CAN’T work with that lol. But I’m generally understanding and don’t mine negotiating prices if need be. Although travel more than an hour away will cost an extra $25 (just for gas) and Edits without my signature are an extra $5. (Negotiable as well)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially I like to get an idea of what the client wants with their photos. As we get together for the photo shoot I began to ask basic “get to know you” questions that’ll better help me make the client comfortable during the shoot, and maybe even create an inside joke that’ll get me that perfect laughable shot for those in the moment portraits. After a handful of shots I let them review the photos so they have an idea of what they’re photos look like so far, it usual eases the mind from thinking “omg what do I look like right now.” At the end I just reconfirm what their idea was for the shoot, double check the theme they’re going for and then we part ways.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to a Fine-Arts Magnet school. Though I majored in Vocal Performance I did take Visual Arts Classes that taught composition of photography in them. One of my instructors from highschool is still one of my mentors today and continues to critique my images as I progress with my craft.
