Introduction: I believe attention to detail is what distinguishes my work. The advent of spell check makes it easier to catch certain typos, but even spell check doesn't catch every typo. My experience has trained me to spot the typos that allude a simple spell check. I have a great deal of passion for the written word, and nothing makes me prouder than seeing it in its purest form. I cringe whenever I see a sign without an apostrophe or with the wrong homonym. I'd like to see society become less lackadaisical when it comes to writing -- and yes, I think it's possible, even in the social media age.
