Introduction: I have taken CPR many times due to my healthcare background and many times I left the class feeling unsure of my skills and scared of having to assist in an emergency. In my class, I emphasize confidence. I make sure that EVERY student leaves my class feeling secure that they would be able to aid in an emergency. I love meeting new people. In almost every class I've taught, I end up learning something new myself. Whether it's information on employment opportunities I can pass on to those that are looking or learning home remedies and real life signs of emergency situations.

She helped me with cpr/first aid. She worked around my schedule. It was at her house, and she made me feel comfortable. She was very friendly, I learned new thing that I didn't know the quality of the work was great. If I had to take it again she would be first choice.

I took a class with Affordable CPR training to renew my certification. I recomend this class for anyone whether you are taking CPR for the first time or updating your credentials. The instructor is very knowledgable and makes the material to applicable to real life situations where CPR is needed.

Shawn was very professional and knowledgeable. I loved working with her and learning from her, she was very personable. She was well organized and patient, she made sure you understood everything before moving on. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for this class.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am required to recertify every 2 years in CPR as well as recertify as an instructor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach in your office or my home. I teach CPR, First Aid and how to use the AED (automated external debrillator). I teach medical personal, child care providers and anyone else willing to learn. I am extremely affordable and flexible with scheduling.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please be careful when shopping around. Do not be scammed by ads offering online courses. Those courses may not be reputable and they may not be accepted by your employer. Make sure your class is certified by the American Heart Association (like mine) or by the American Red Cross.
