FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flute lessons fees are due on the 1st of the month. For example, for September lessons, the fee is paid by September 1st. Flute group classes fees are due up front before the first class.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically talk with an adult student or with the parent/caregiver of a school aged student first. I try to understand what their goals are, explain how the SB Flute Studio can help and answer any questions. Then, if it is apparent that we are a good fit, we can begin with a trial lesson or with regular weekly lessons or group classes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor degree in music from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (1996). I have completed all coursework for my Masters in Music Education with an emphasis in Studio Pedagogy at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and writing my thesis. I have taken several Suzuki courses, including: Every Child Can!, Suzuki Flute 1-6, and Suzuki Early Childhood Education Stage 1.
