- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Nope- Very simple Pricing. We offer the quote before we start the work. And the quote is FINAL!! If at all any additional items are added, we make sure to ask the client to approve the additional charges before we proceed with the work. No SURPRISES!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, its imperative that a graphic designer or photographer does her bit to stay abreast of all the possible technologies in her field. I do advanced professional tutorials online, browse through various design work of other designers and try to figure out how it was done. Any other scope of work that I can come up with. Also knowledge about other associated field is equally important. For eg. If I know how to create a swf flash banner, I also need to know how I can embed it in a particular client website. Going a mile ahead of what you promised to the client increases our knowledge of surroundings.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was already working for a jewelry showroom in Downtown Atlanta, Americasmart , as a graphic designer and photographer. From there I got the idea of starting my own venture into the same field. Also there are many start-up ventures who have good products but not a huge budget for photography. To provide services to such start-ups is a great start for ourselves too.
