- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates reflect the number of elements needed from the officiant. A basic service would include a more general ceremony. If there is a desire for pre-marital counseling, participation in a wedding rehearsal, a customized ceremony or participation in the wedding reception, the rate would reflect those services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically desire to spend 15-20 minutes in a phone call with 1 or both members of the wedding couple, enabling me to identify how I can best be of help. At that point, we are able to define the services desired and set rates and schedules during which those can occur.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theology, worked for the United Methodist Church for 15+ years and have performed weddings both for parishioners and friends. I have a polished approach to pre-marital counseling, coordination of the wedding party during the ceremony, and the public speaking required of an officiant.
