Matt was sincere, funny, seemed personal, has a great voice, we did not have a microphone and he projected his voice so everyone could hear him. Matt did a great job! I highly recommend Matt as a Wedding Officiant.

We couldn’t have found a better officiant! Matt is excellent on ALL counts: listening to our needs, communication, value, personalization, punctual, professional and delivery of a great ceremony service!! Etc etc etc. Also, the VERY important legal stuff: Matt had already mailed the marriage license by Monday after the ceremony!! All my guests loved him and my husband and I did too! DO NOT HESITATE TO SECURE MATT FOR YOUR WEDDING!! FIVE STARS!!

Looking for a trustworthy wedding officiant can be a stressful part of the wedding planning process. The moment my fiancé and I heard Matt start speaking on our first call, we knew he would be a perfect fit for our ceremony. He respected our wishes, was confident in his abilities, and had everything planned out before we even had our first phone call. We also decided to do premarital counseling with Matt and it was wonderful! It gave us an opportunity to get to know Matt (and for him to get to know us) which made our big day feel even more meaningful. All in all, we highly reccomend hiring Matt. You will not be disappointed!

Matt was so amazing on our wedding day!! He made the crowd giggle and put a smile on everyone’s face from start to finish. He was so professional & kind and really was amazing from start to finish in the process. He really went above and beyond and handled things for us I wouldn’t even know to do! Lol If you’re looking for a well rounded officiant that specializes in a variety of ceremonies, he’s your guy! I couldn’t be happier with our choice with picking him! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates reflect the number of elements needed from the officiant. A basic service would include a more general ceremony. If there is a desire for pre-marital counseling, participation in a wedding rehearsal, a customized ceremony or participation in the wedding reception, the rate would reflect those services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically desire to spend 15-20 minutes in a phone call with 1 or both members of the wedding couple, enabling me to identify how I can best be of help. At that point, we are able to define the services desired and set rates and schedules during which those can occur.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've earned a Bachelor's Degree in Theology, worked for the United Methodist Church for 15+ years and have performed weddings both for parishioners and friends. I have a polished approach to pre-marital counseling, coordination of the wedding party during the ceremony, and the public speaking required of an officiant.
