Introduction: I'd have to say that experience on the stream for 40 yrs. plus being a fly fishing instructor at KSU and several other college's for 21 yrs. and 15 yrs. of entomology speaks for itself. Fly fishing isn't about how many fish you catch but how you out smarted them with your tactics! Most guides are pretty good at what they do, but some lack the passion of the Art of Fly fishing. We teach the basics but also show tactics that will help you improve your skills in the class room and on the stream. On the stream presentation is the best way to learn casting and wading safety to insure the clients ability to establish his or hers understanding of the Art of Fly fishing.... Tight Lines! Enjoying people catching their first fish! Fly fishing is a Art form of fishing and takes a lot of skill and work! Toccoa River is my home waters, year after year we've caught nice trout! The beauty of this river holds a very nice scenic views up river as well as the tail waters down river to Horseshoebend park. We also enjoy seeing the people waving as they come down the scenic train tracks, in which runs along the rivers banks of the Toccoa river basin.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of our trips are on the Toccoa River and other local and MTN. streams in Georgia. Yes we have kept are prices down even through the tough times! Most of our all day trips are $175 per day! Trophy and other trips such as drift boat trips are a standard fee of $375 per two Anglers per boat.......... Trophy prices change pending on the landowner's who have private waters.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the customer is very important to us! Learning what they know about fly fishing and making them better while your on the stream with them, is key to having fun but adding a few tricks to your trip to help them be a better Angler!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up around fishing, Dad took us fishing almost every weekend! I've walked many if not all the streams in Georgia and can tell just about how good each stream fishes! I've instructed several hundred students at KSU on their EDU programs to show and learn them on hands learning to develop their skills on fly fishing. I've been teaching the Art of fly fishing for 21 yrs. at KSU and surrounding schools.
