- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sometimes pricing is a problem. Let's say you have a bad electrical outlet. I don't charge for "travel time", but it can take 10 minutes to troubleshoot and replace a bad outlet. In the mean time, it can take two hours to get there and back. I just try to be fair and earn a bit of a living. So, in that respect, I suppose it is complicated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep up to date on solar and energy issues. We're all in this together.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love to show off. No. Really! People are very generous and are often very complimentary when I fix something. I love the praise. It's really that simple.
