FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Feller's Certifications, 3M certifications
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It would be great if people knew that by saying "You're the professional, I'll leave it up to you" you are really making a designers job incredibly difficult. If you can at least give us ideas of what you might like, such as favorite colors, or styles such as simple & elegant or eye-catching & wild, you will make your designers life that much easier. If you don't know what you want, how can you expect us to know? We're great at coming up with stuff, but give us a direction to move towards and we will both be happier when all is said and done. If you really have no clue, at least give us some background of your business and the message you are trying to communicate. Help us help you. :)
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew that all installers are not created equal. The really good ones have dedicated lots of time and effort into learning our trade, sometimes apprenticing for years before going out on their own. Reputable installers should be licensed (we are) and insured (yup we have that covered too), as well as have several examples of work they have done that can be verified(feel free to contact us for our references). Don't take anybody's word for it! Oh and get EVERYTHING in writing no matter what. Reputable companies have no trouble backing up what they say with written estimates.
