Over the years, I've used personal trainers to help me meet my fitness goals and I tell you what, after working with Ben for just a couple weeks, I can already tell this time the lessons are going to stick. He does such a great job of explaining the "why" behind the exercise! He's also extremely motivating and fun to work with!! I look forward to my workouts with Ben!!
Prior to meeting Dru I had been training regularly with hopes that I would achieve my desired look, but I was just not getting the results I wanted alone. After meeting Dru and working with him for only 5 weeks now, I can say he knows his stuff! Dru's experience in fitness training and nutrition is key to my goals and he knows which exercises to use to get the results I want! I like the push and drive to excel that he delivers each time which is always paired with his form correctiveness to prevent injuries. I loved having Jennie as a personal trainer. She was not only understanding of problem areas but she helped me to kick butt in those areas. After I had a back injury, she helped me gain my strength back. She was patient with me and encouraging all the time. Not hiring Jennie is a huge mistake. She's a hard worker, patient, understanding and always up for new challenges.

I have been working with Cathleen for the past month and she has been amazing. I'm a mother of three and was looking to get back into shape before my 30th birthday. She has customized my workout to fit my needs and is attentive to my medical needs as well. She is a great motivator and I am loving the results so far! I have a long way to go but with her help I know I will achieve my goals and even more. She isn't like most trainers that push you too far, she pushes me far enough and alters as needed. I've been with Pammie for about 2 weeks now and I can't express the appreciation I have for her. I'm newer to Hawaii and haven't been able to make friends or really experience Hawaii yet, not to mention many of the things that I want to do I feel like I can't do yet because of the weight I want to lose. Not only am I getting what I need physically, but what I couldn't have possibly asked for but receive from her is the emotional support that makes me feel whole versus the treatment of "just another client" She works with me, listens to me, volunteers to take me out and we get to experience hiking and swimming and as long as I'm willing to put in the effort for her. Tell her what you want and she'll see that it's done. Want bootcamp sessions? Done. Want dancing sessions? Done. Want yoga/pillates sessions? Done. Want outdoor activities? Done. Want strength training and core exercises? Done. Want cardio fitness? Done. I've been to different gyms, had different trainers, dealt with different sales people and they've always looked at me like a shark ready to sink their teeth into me and milk me for all I'm worth financially. It's very rare to see someone in this industry with a real passion to help people and give them a shoulder to lean on while kicking your ass at the same time. It's been a long time since I've really respected having time for myself and she makes me look forward to our sessions and doing something for myself. To quote her: "Remember to squeeze your butt! 'cause if you don't, nobody will!" :)
I love swimming with fins and i did a lot of free style with the habit of only breathing on one side. I suddently got my left shoulder frozen. I decided to train with a coach that would know exactly how to help me recover complete range of motion so i can move and swim again. I started to learn how to stretch and work with elastic bands and light weights to regain flexibility and strength. And then i progressed toward kettle bell and TRX training. Carson has the gift to listen and understand your needs and being very grounded and perfectionnist, he would go the extra mile to give you the workout that suits you! My shoulder completely recovered and i can swim both sides now. He also made me aware of tightness in my neck and right shoulder slightly more elevated while carring my purse! Carson tought me also how to squat properly and my right knee is no longer cracking... Professional, caring, genuine and straighforward! It's extemely rare nowadays! He wanted me to be able to continue on my own that training so i can swim without injuring myself again. I feel much stronger now. I also liked the combination of pilates and yoga to strenghten my core. And training with my own body weight with the TRX and kettle bell was a fantastic way to gain balance, strength and mobility. Carson obviously loves people and wants you to feel good about yourself and succeed! I can't thank him enough! You have your perfect trainer right there:))
I have been working with Christine for a couple years now. First off, let me just say that her professionalism and friendliness is a breath of fresh air over the big box gym trainers I've tried in the past. Her gym is a private gym with everything, I mean everything, you need to get the job done. It's in Kakaako and even has free parking! Christine always come on time, prepared and ready to train me for each session. She keeps the workouts interesting and different so that the routine doesn't become routine. As a hard gainer (naturally skinny) she understands what I need to grow. I like to be pushed hard and knowing she has my spot when we go heavy is a very secure feeling which is important. Christine also knows her nutrition very well. Nutrition is such a huge part of fitness and my diet was off. With her guidance she helped me clean up my diet and I'm happy to say the results are showing! Lastly, I definitely recommend Fit Form Hawaii if your looking to get back in shape or if you want to take your training to the next level. Christine is great for both!

Rey is a great trainer; very knowledgeable, experienced, and our workouts are different each time. My fitness and nutrition has improved under his guidance. Even when I have an injury, he always finds a work-around so I still get a good workout. And he's a great guy!
I have known Brian for 8 months, right before the start of my pregnancy. I have been out of shape for 9 years due to my job, but Brian was very patient with me and we started with small steps. We are literally going through the pregnancy together and I have to admit, this guy is patient. After periods of nausea, stress, swollen ankles and all the pregnancy issues, he was always there for me, making me do the right exercises that I need. Tony is a very knowledgeable trainer, fitness and nutrition. He challenges you and pushes you to do things you never thought you could do! I learned a lot of new things all the time with Tony. He definitely practices what he preaches. He is also very accommodating to reschedule when I can't attend a workout session. The workouts aren't the same thing over and over. Typically it's specific workouts for 4-5 weeks but there's progression throughout the time you do it, then the workouts change. I like the idea that you can see the progression in the weights or reps/sets from what you first started off as. If you're looking to start working on your fitness or maybe you're already advanced and feel like you want a challenge...then I recommend Tony. He will without a doubt help you start your fitness journey if you're a beginner or give you that tough challenge, if you're more experienced!
