FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for reviews and get the name of the DJ who will be at your event. If you can't find any reviews online about the DJ or Emcee, keep shopping. Cheap doesn't mean better. In your contract be sure to include the name of the DJ or Emcee the company promised to be at your event. Especially if you want him or her to be there for sure. I make sure that my contact indicates "Tony So will be our DJ and Emcee" This ensures my customers have peace of mind. They don't have to hope that I am the one who will show up. It's in writing and that is black and white. No shady business. No Bait and Switch. Just Professional, Experienced and Exciting for the events that are very important. Your Wedding, Your Event. THE DJ Hawaii is all you'll need. Do whatever it takes to hire THE DJ HAWAII's "Tony So"
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers know that I exist. Every time I meet up with potential clients. I see this look in their eyes. Like to say, where the heck have you been all my life?! We've been stressing out all this time and you simply answered all our questions in one meeting. Everything we were worried about you melted away. I always believe you start with the end in mind and work your way back to where you are, so you can create a map that has the proper directions to get to your vision and goal. My goal is to be detailed but as simple as possible to ensure here is no confusion. Too much detail can be confusing the day of your wedding. I've seen timelines that tell you when to eat, sit, drink, poop, pee, stand and even wipe your butt. OK not that extreme but close enough. Imagine loosing your place on a timeline like that the day of your wedding? You would need help finding your place. So keep it simple and hire a professional who doesn't complicate your Life and Your Wedding.
