- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Grandmother was an artist and she inspired me to use my creative talents everyday in every way. I am so blessed to be able to work in a field that appreciates my gifts and my inherent zest for life! My schemes are fashion forward and ever changing, not duplicated by the masses. I travel extensively to trade shows around the world to keep abreast of the leading and latest design trends and offerings.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
CIH Design provides complete interior design services, both residential and commercial. We provide design, purchasing, procurement and installation for all of our projects. We also offer consultation services. We provide photo realistic virtual renderings of our custom design plans for our clients to visualize the proposed project. We specify the fabrics, furnishings, lighting and accessories to complement our client's individual taste and budget. We always create one of a kind fashion forward design. We offer turn key furnishing plans and also provide complete installation of furnishing packages whether for custom homes or vacation condos and rentals. We have resources that offer furnishings at all price points.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is a great idea to have a folder of photos and images of spaces that you admire. An estimated budget is always helpful so that we can provide the highest level of design within the budget that you prescribe. I like to hear about your lifestyle, hobbies, how much you entertain, if you have pets, children and of course your favorite colors. I always make a primary list of my client's likes and dislikes. We never suggest anything to our clients on their "dislike" list. we create a space for you, about you, within the parameters that you give us.
