    I have been working with Cathleen for the past month and she has been amazing. I'm a mother of three and was looking to get back into shape before my 30th birthday. She has customized my workout to fit my needs and is attentive to my medical needs as well. She is a great motivator and I am loving the results so far! I have a long way to go but with her help I know I will achieve my goals and even more. She isn't like most trainers that push you too far, she pushes me far enough and alters as needed. I will continue to work out with her and recommend her to anyone looking!

    Patient and encouraging, Cat put up with me for nearly a year! In that time we worked on balance, strength and flexibility--around an injury that's been plaguing me for a long time. I made some great strides all around thanks to her guidance! I'm not completely pain free, but this combination of work has been the best- and tailored to what my body needed.

    I worked with Cathleen first in group fitness classes, then later in personal training. I found her to be professional and very knowledgeable. She was always ready to get down to the business of training. She is enthusiastic and energetic, while being supportive of the trainee's personal goals. I will train with her again in the future.

    Knowledgeable, dedicated, motivating, compasionate, effective, attentive, experienced and understanding are just a few words to describe Cathleen and her personal training philosophy. Awesome and intense, but incrediblity enjoyable, have been my training sessions with her! If you need a personal trainer, whom stands above the rest, then train with Cathleen. I've trained with many male personal trainers and "gym-rats" in the past, but none had come close to her methods and results, because of her approach to fitness as a lifestlye and life long committment. My advise to you would be, "don't miss out on the opportunity to be trained by this unique personal trainer!" aka Cathleen Bucio.

    I've had the oppptunity to train with Cathleen. She taught me so much about core strength and the importance of it for endurance sports. I was a marathon runner who couldn't touch my toes. But she changed my skills and developed my inner athelete. Many marathons later and a couple triathlons, I've even been on the podium.

    Cat whipped me into shape when I truly thought it was impossible! I have a bad knee so a LOT of exercises were just not possible for me. Cat worked around my injury to create workouts that were intense and fun. I not only lost a bunch of weight but ended up in the best shape of my life! And my knee ended up stronger and less painful than ever! I can't say enough about how well she motivated me and helped me reach the goals I had set and THEN SOME!

    I really enjoy working out with Cathleen. She helped me to see and feel life in a whole new realm. I was really depressed and out of shape when I came to her soon after working with her I became a whole new women. I feel as a trainer Cathleen is dedicated to me both physically and emotionally. She finds my weak spots and makes them stronger. If u want a trainer that will work with u individually on your own personal goals and help u achieve them and a trainer that wont give up on you eventhough you might give up then dont let the oppurtunity go by to work with this amazing knowledgeable trainer.

    Fitness is a passion for Cathleen and it's infectious. She is well educated in the human body and keeps up with the latest in physio and nutritional research. She knows the difference between urban folklore and hard science and uses her knowledge to craft an effective program for YOU. She does not use a cookie cutter approach where a trainer just uses your age and weight then looks up a stock program on a computer. She pays attention to your goals, habits, metabolic type, and physical abilities. She has used her knowledge to help me understand how to work out utilizing proper form so that injuries do not occur. She is always encouraging me to push myself to do that one more rep even when I think I can't. She makes the sessions fun, challenging, and never boring. I always look forward to my training sessions. In the one short month I have trained with Cathleen I can really feel the improvement. You're missing out if you're not training with Cathleen.

    I have been training with Cathleen for a month now and I have seen the results I asked for. Cathleen takes the time to get to know you and motivates you to dig deep. She brings a depth of knowledge and experience to every session. I also appreciate the fact that she is willing to work with you at her studio or elsewhere. I personally have had sessions at the beach and at my home and also at the tennis court. Cathleen keeps it fun and exciting at all times. You never know what type of session you are going to experience. The results are phenomenal.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not a day goes by where I am not studying and keeping up with my credentials and continuing education. I believe in being knowledable and experienced in my field.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love to workout. I was injured in 2009. It put me back for a bit. But through my own beliefs in healing my body through exercise. I began to put it out there even more. Exercise is medicine. You can heal from injuries. It takes work and effort. You have to want it. I wanted it. And I am here sharing my knowledge and experience to help those in need of changing personal fitness and health goals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I had a client who wanted to lose 100lbs. We met her goal weight within 8 months with proper nutrition and exercise. The training was challenging just as much as correcting eating habits. She wanted it badly. I wanted it badly. We did it. :)
