I'd been having plumbing issues at my house for a long time. I knew there was some major work that had to be done but was avoiding updating due to lack of funds. The quotes I got from other company's was way out of my budget. When Drew came to inspect and clear a clog he showed me with his video camera where my pipes were completely broken. He understood my situation and was willing to work with my financials and gave me a price that i could actually afford. Hes a hard worker thatbdoes great work. My house is finally free of all the plumbing issues i was dealing with for years. Very grateful foe his company.

On Saturday August 31st, 2019 my tenant reported a clogged kitchen sink drain. I put the job out on thumbtack and Drew from MD Drain CPR llc responded very quickly by 8:43am. He said he would go out and take a look at the drain within the hour. When he arrived at the unit a little by 10:22am he said the drain was only part of the problem. The pipe to the sink was leaking and the water heater was leaking. He reported he cleaned up all the water but that I needed to replace the water heater. He said he would go look for a water heater for me. I was extremely gratetful for his timely response and cleaning everything up. He recommended picking up an electric water heater since the area in the apartment is very small. I agreed to the one he suggested and he proceeded to install it. I stopped by the apartment around 4pm and the water heater was hooked up. He explained he may need to run additional wires if it doesn’t work correctly. The cabinets had to be fully taken out but he assured me that he would put them back together. I paid him $1600 as agreed upon and then left very pleased that the job would be finished up. Our tenant had to leave at 5:30pm. I found out around 8pm that the job was not completed because our tenant had to leave, but he had informed our tenant that he could finish up the following day at 10am. I called him that evening and confirmed with him that he would be back the next day. I texted him at 10:11am the next day because neither my tenant nor I had heard from him. I also tried to call him twice on both his numbers and had no answer. My tenant reported the water heater only stayed on for a few minutes at a time and then got cold. My tenant had things to do, so I told him to go ahead and leave and I could come by if Drew contacted us. 11:41am on Sunday Sept 1 Drew called and reported he got stuck at a job all night after our job, and would be unable to come at that time. He said to try the circuit breaker if the water heater goes off. He reported the rest of the job shouldn’t take long maybe 30min. I asked him when he would be able to finish and he said he would let us know that evening. We didn’t hear back from him that evening. I texted him at 7:40pm asking him to let us know what time he could finish up on Monday so we could plan our labor day and that the water heater keeps tripping the circuit and does not work for more than a minute or two. Monday, Sept 2nd we waited around to hear from Drew. My check had already been deposited, so he had been paid for the job. I texted him at 8:03am asking if he could please let us know when he could finish up because our tenant still did not have hot water and their kitchen cabinets were a mess. 9:28am I texted him that if we didn’t hear from him by the afternoon I would have to look into hiring someone else to complete the job. Drew called by 9:39am and reported he was currently stuck on another job. He said if he can’t get someone to come out and finish up, he would come the following day. I texted Drew at 8:26pm to please contact my husband and let him know when he can finish up Tuesday since I had to work a 12 hr shift that day. He contacted my husband that evening and said he would be by at 10am on Tuesday. On Tuesday we had to coordinate someone to take our kids to their activities in the morning, so that my husband could meet up with Drew to get everything finished. My husband tried calling and texting Drew Tuesday morning Sept 3rd and did not hear back from him. My husband looked up the water heater and decided to look into hiring an electrician to change the circuit breaker to accommodate the water heater. Drew got back to him and sent him a picture of himself in the hospital. We hired the electrician so at least our tenants could have hot water since it had been 4 days so far. On Wednesday the electrician came and spent 4 hrs hooking up the electrical to get the water heater working. Drew messaged me on thumbtack on Wednesday that he was available if we need to him a call. I messaged him back at 3:23 and asked if he could finish up the cabinets as promised since we already hired someone else to hook up the water heater. I am relatively new to thumbtack so I was not quite sure how to work the reviews. I clicked on the stars and then tried to see if I could leave it blank but didn’t realize the one star rating had gone through. I was hoping to hear back from Drew and that he would complete our job so I could give him a thorough and accurate review. Thursday Sept 5th he contacted my husband to finish up the cabinets. He must have seen the one star review afterwards because he posted his response to it on thumbtack saying and would not be able to finish the job that we had already paid him for. I messaged him and explained that I meant to hold off on the review because I was hoping to give hi the benefit of the doubt that he would finish up. I apologized for the one star review but assured him that I could edit it if he could finish up. My husband texted him a similar answer and we have not heard back from him. I have pictures and text messages showing times and dates Still waiting and therefore he still has this one star review.

Our old pipes under our kitchen sink finally gave out and started leaking. He was able to come out after another job across the island and was accommodating to my schedule to as i was only available late evening. He’s super personable and professional. Got the job done fast and i was able to finally wash my dishes.
