- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Call at least 3 commercial service providers listed in the Yellow Pages or a major business directory in your area for quotes before you seek and view quotes on Thumbtack. This gives you a general idea of what to expect or at least a baseline to compare prices for services requested and/or offered.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Any and all questions in reference to affordability of both labor and required materials, projected time frames and commitment to completion of project or service requested. Be sure that specifications are clearly understood by yourself and the service provider especially if project or service is labor intensive. Time is like money!
