Introduction: I provide professional and custom web design tailored to your business and your audience. I create the sites in an easy to use content management system that allows you to easily update the website yourself. My goal is to make the website user-friendly to your customers as well as you as an editor. I do responsive design. This means the sites I create will change based on what device your customers are viewing it on (mobile, tablet or desktop). This way your site will always be as clear as it can be. And the best part, since I only do this part-time, so I charge a very reasonable amount with no ongoing fees. Everything! I love working with so many different industries and people. I love creating beautiful, yet user-friendly websites. I love when a site has a new challenge for me to figure out. As a part-time stay-at-home mom, I don't have to work. I choose to work! I truly would miss helping other small businesses improve their web presence.

I wanted to create a website where I could share stories that were of high coincidence (as they seem to happen to me all the time). I call them "WATOs", which stands for "What are the Odds". I also wanted my friends and family and others to be able to post their stories, so we could read and share all the other crazy coincidental "WATOs" that occur each and every day- with each other. Different from most websites, I'm not selling anything, as this is purely a social media website, which started as a vision in my brain. Blue Rock Designs could not have done a better job, as they took that vision in my brain, and turned it to a live website. With constant communication on project timing, multiple design mock-ups from which I was able to pick and tweak my favorite, all the way to back-end training complete with a user's manual- Molly knocked it out of the park! Social media websites with posting capabilities, live feeds, voting, and comment aspects can be quite tricky. It was no match for Blue Rock Designs though - as Molly figured out every last piece of the puzzle. I would highly recommend Blue Rock to anyone looking to build any sort of website. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working on my college's website. I didn't know anything about websites, but I was interested in learning. I fell in love with it from then on. As a marketing major, I realized how important the web was becoming to a business's marketing plan. So I kept learning more and more about building websites through college and at my first job out of college. I have been growing my knowledge and talents ever since.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at everything they will provide and what their fees are. Even though their quote may be cheap, you might not be getting a quality site or an easy to use content management system. Or worse, they may charge a high regular maintenance fee. And, of course, look at their portfolio. Do you like the designs they have done for others?
