If I could have rated 0*, I would have. Told me they had to fit me in for a door installation so arranged at 7 am meet-up. Didn't show and wouldn't answer phone. Waited for 45 min and never showed or contacted me. Very unprofessional.Jun 2, 2017VerifiedJovan W.'s reply
I apologise. I simply woke up later then expected and went to the original drywalling job I was trying to squeeze you in for. I truly hope you got the door installed.
My husband & I wanted to have our basement framed. I contacted several contractors. Jovan of Blackstone Handy Services, LLC was great. He was the first to get back to me. He was out to our home to complete an estimate and, was working on the job before we even had return calls from a few of the other contractors. He and his helper were finished with the work in less then 2 days. We will definitely be working with him again soon. He is currently working on bids for our plumbing, electricity, and drywall too.Mar 18, 2017VerifiedJovan W.'s reply
Thanks Renatta. It was a pleasure working with you and your family. I currently have the quotes in for your plumbing and drywall. I'll be ready to knock out the rest of basement project as soon as I get the rest of the details. Looking forward to working with you soon.
Jovan replaced a door on our detached garage. Was very prompt and professional. Did a fabulous job and and will definitely recommend him.Feb 7, 2017VerifiedJovan W.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My estimates are generally based per job size. And what's involved in the job. Being a general contractor there are several subs that I hire out some of the work. So prices are never the same. But always competitive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Getting to know them. And making sure I pick up on the details of what they want in the job. Try to make sure they are comfortable and satisfied with all stages of the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Lead renovator certified in the state of iowa. Iowa Department of Public health Bureau of lead poisoning Certification # 0016782-firm Home Electrical wiring course at Kirkwood
