DO NOT USE BILL!!!!!! He will no show on you or take your money and run without completing his work. He is a fraud. And completely unreliable. He was supposed to fix my garage spring prior to closing on the sale of my home. I was in Omaha and spoke with him on the phone and he told me himself that the work was finished, and he had left me the work receipt in the garage. Upon return to Des Moines, there was no work receipt, and the garage spring was exactly as it had been before. He did not fix it. I called him immediately and as soon as the words "garage spring" came out of my mouth he hung up on me. And then when I called him back repeatedly he declined all my phone calls. A total coward. Do not use this man!!!!!!

We've taken Bill to small claims court and won. His response below is completely inaccurate and I urge you to resist hiring him or anyone associated with him.
For reference, here is the Iowa Small Claims Court Number - SCSC587047
He was not licensed, he was fraudulent in presenting he had a license and caused harm to my family due to his actions.
I also urge Thumbtack to remove him from the contractor's list and I will repeat this request on all contracting sites.

Please to not use Bill as he is a fraud. We hired Bill to install 3 exterior doors and then to fix drywall and finish our electrical. The 3 doors were installed incorrectly and with inferior products, the drywall was incorrect and installation of the pocket door as well, and he never finished the electrical. Not only did he not finish the electrical, he added erroneous charges for work he did not do. I was contacted by the drywall company that Bill had used to pay for the spray since he couldn't match the texture and his check bounced. In hindsight, I wish I would have checked for his license in Polk County, which he does not have and not pay money until services are completed.

Bill and his team did a great job for the challenging project they took on (cleaning & repairing A LOT of very dirty commercial blinds). The project took a bit longer than we all initially thought it would because it was difficult job. But they got it done, and done VERY well, and under the estimated cost. I will call Bill again for future projects. Thank you for a job well done. I am very pleased.
