Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I develop custom websites which I maintain. I also develop websites which the client, or their employee can maintain. Then, I train them so they have the tools, knowledge and confidence to keep the website going. It all depends on the needs and budget of the client.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I tell them that if they're looking for a web designer, they should put together an outline of the content and functionality they want. This outline will enable me and other web designers to create a proposal and cost estimate. I provide them with a lot of other advice too.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I design logos and websites to meet the needs of my clients, and help them connect with their target audience. Crafting the client's message is the goal, rather than creating an artistic masterpiece.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I enjoy it when my clients take pride in the project we have completed. I love to hear them tell me how their customers rave about the website or logo I created.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Many people ask what the "average website" costs. I tell them that I don't create average websites, and I explain that websites are like cars and houses. The cost depends on the features and functionality they want.
