- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I meet with the customer to get information about the type of garden project they want develop. I do some research and create a list of plants that U will show the customer. Once I have a plant list approved I then create a planting plan and an estimate. I do not charge a customer anything until an estimate and plan are approved.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been a designer/art director for over 30 years. Gardening for over 20 and while working at Garden Gate Magazine I learned a great deal about perennials and annuals that grow in and around Des Moines, Iowa. I am always look for new plants and try them in our garden. If a plant grows well in our garden or fails I will use this informtion and pass it on to my customers.
