Introduction: Tricia Zeis Photography creates beautiful portraits at an affordable price for everyone. I enjoy working with my clients prior to the our session. I always suggest my clients check out my Pinterest page for similar poses they would like me reconstruct for their photo session. I want my clients to feel special, relaxed and most of all to have fun! I love to listen to my clients suggestions and I am always willing to try new things. I will work with my clients long after the photo shoot to edit photos to as much as possible to my client's request as possible. I love meeting new people! I enjoy hearing their story. How a couple met or when a new mom found out she was first expecting her child. Having conversations with you children about a favorite toy, pet or place they have visited and seeing their eyes light up and imagination takes off into a whole new world! Listening to high school seniors talk about their last year of high school and what they hope to accomplish before going out into the world on their own after high school. Most of all forming new relationships as friends and parents.

Tricia did our engagement pictures on Iowa State University's campus. She is wonderful to work with and cares about people. She captures the love between people and tells their story in her pictures.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I remember picking up a camera at a very young age. My first was an old camera with a bulb flash that shot black & white film that was purchased at an auction. Growing up I always had my creative side to work photographing people and things or drawing, painting working with pastels. My senior year I shadowed a well know photo studio photographer in the Cedar Falls area. When I got to college I took 3 semesters of film photography, but decided not to pursue the field because I feared I would get bored with it. As digital photography took off my husband and I purchased a very nice digital camera and I began taking photos again as a hobby. In April of 2013 I lost my job as an Administrative Assistant and need to find a way to make some money while looking for full time work. Things began to fall into place from that point forward and I'm thrilled at how great my experience has thrived!
