Kory recently painted the exterior of my house and did a great job! I had lead based paint which made the job more difficult but he knocked it out by himself. He also replaced rotten window sills. He was patient with me & helped me decide on color choices. He even came by a week later to see his work and to make sure I was happy. He has also done several handyman projects around my house and he's working with my family on multiple properties that we have in the DM area. He shows up & gets the job done. As a first time home buyer I've been clueless with things & he's helped me understand how it all works. He is clean & professional. His next projects with me include; concrete work on my driveway, staining my deck, bathroom remodel, replacing ceiling fans & several other small projects. 5 Stars! Thank you Kory
Shane, was wonderful. Our tub was leaking at the base by the wall. He quickly checked to see if the insulation was dry around the valve and shower head which I had open. It was and he pointed out the caulking between the tile and tub was cracked suggested I replace it which I did and the problem was solved. He didn't want to charge me since he was only in the house for 5 minutes. I will definitely call him again for any plumbing problem. Jeff Meyer
The work that was done (so far) seems to have been done very well. While it did take a long time for SmcExteriors to come out to our place, the perceived quality of the craftsmanship and the price was well worth the wait, and the only reason (I believe) it took as long as it did to do the repair is because it was a relatively small job outside of their usual area of business, so if it were a bigger job it may have had some more urgency. But the most important thing to take away from this review is quality with price: SmcExteriors did this repair between five to ten times less than other contractors with the same care. Most contractors wanted to charge close to $500 to replace one 10ft panel of fascia. Steve was down to earth, charged a more-than-reasonable amount, and really wanted our business. If we ever need another job done, I won't hesitate to get in touch with Steve.
Grandview did an excellent job on our garage door, and they also did some carpentry work elsewhere on our house. All was excellent.
Greg was hired to do tile and grout repair in our shower. He was careful to match existing color and did a thorough job. We had a travel glitch resulting in a last minute re-schedule and that was handled quickly and professionally.
