FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Originally, I started out my cleaning jobs with 3 hours per home every other week. Special projects would be extra time or additional appointments to complete. $20-$25 per hour is my standard rate, depending on details requested. Indoor pets can create extra work, requiring more attention to detail. The duct cleaning business, added in February 2017, requires special equipment, infrequent visits, and therefore is more expensive. We take pride in either job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A walk through is required to get a feel for how busy their home is, how deep the initial cleaning might be. At this point, we would debate on frequency, cost, product preferences, equipment required, and conditions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No formal training or education. I speak with a business advisor/tax preparer to know what is required. I've been awarded as a certified trainer, able to provide professional, yet personal customer service.
