- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For estimates I price everything individually to let people know exactly what they are paying for and to help them understand more about the work I am doing for them.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get at least 3 different estimates and even with that businesses may charge a lot especially to people that don't understand the work process for a project and the business still may skip over important parts of 1 project that may result in more work later on from another project developing from that small part skipped or from the project materials coming apart or rotting other materials from not internally done. Even though it may appear to be well done or accomplished for the problem it may be a quick cover up for fast easy money than a correct fix for a little more work time being involved.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
