- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did a project for Citibank while I was in graduate school at the University of Chicago. The project was so successful we got to present to the presidents of the five markets for Citibank. I knew I wanted to be a consultant after that project. Consultants get to work on the toughest problems and that is where I want to be.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's important to know who will actually be doing the work on your account. Often the most experienced consultants spend their time acquiring new clients. I prefer to develop deep relationships with my clients where they rely on my like a partner. I work with a few clients and I am actively engaged in all aspects of their projects. This insures that they receive the highest quality work.
