Introduction: There is no substitute for having a background in construction. Having taken apart and put together buildings and homes ranging from the late 1700's to our current time is invaluble. I am able to answer my clients questions in a detailed manner and not be fearful that I am misleading them because I know and understand what is being discussed. Someone once said, "true wisdom is taking the complex and making it understandable." That is what I do for my clients.
I love teaching people about the systems of their home. When the people that hire me are finished with the inspection, they come away more confident and sure of themselves with regard to their home, the systems contained therein, and their ability to operate those systems safely.
