- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Whether you're taking half hour or hour weekly lessons, tuition toward lessons is due at the first lesson of each month. Each month, I make sure to send out a friendly reminder email or text that a new month is upon us!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After setting up a lesson time, we'll briefly go over lesson policies at the beginning of the first lesson. During that first lesson, I gauge a course of study that is right for you (or your child) based on current ability level, interests, and goals. If it's your child who is taking lessons, I always take a few minutes after the lesson to discuss what we worked on and to answer any questions you may have in order to keep you, the parent, in the loop!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Theory & Composition from the College of Idaho, 10 years of guitar playing (classical and jazz) experience, songwriting experience, and real-world recording, performing, and music business experience. Guitar-wise, I've studied with Wayne White, Christi Green, and Clay Moore.
