- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For sure! I am on a mailing list with a local photography company who offers different weekend classes, I subscribe to digital sources of photography news and techniques, AND on my free time, I use my own children and family as guinea pigs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father dabbled in photography for years and I grew up with a fascination with the camera. Then YEARS ago, my uncle and his wife founded a gospel quartet and they needed someone to do shoots for them, do professional images and create a CD label, business card, posters, etc... Not long after, their daughter got married and they asked me to photograph. I knew then, I wanted to go to work everyday with a camera!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have basically done it all. Weddings, engagement, birthday parties, religious events, family portraits, newborn, maternity, and seniors. I've worked in studios, schools, sports, and outdoors.
