FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done it all; large, commercial jobs and smaller, residential jobs. Recently, I redid a 1970's bathroom with heated tile flooring, new bathtub, tile inlays, granite countertops and new toilet placed at a 90 degree angle. I'm happy doing all types of masonry, as it allows me to tap into my creative side.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure whoever you hire is licensed and insured. Look at photos of past work. Get references. There are a lot of people who may provide services at a cheaper rate, but without the proper protection, a client will leave themselves open to huge liability. When you hire me, licensed and insured, your risk is reduced.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I'd like my customers to know that masonry is an intricate, detail infused art form. 1/8 of an inch can make or break an entire project. When one hires a professional to complete a project, they should be aware and observe their contractor's competencies and abilities. If something feels "off", it probably is. I welcome my customer's opinions and input. To me, this is a joint project. I like my customers to be involved and ask questions, if they have them. Their involvement, insights and inquiries allow me to complete the project according to what they want, as well as build confidence and a lasting relationship. The best compliment I can receive is a referral from a happy customer.
