FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is very straight forward. We have set pricing for home cleaning, it's by the hour. Usually we discuss the scope of work and the size of the home and recommend a number of hours. Our carpet cleaning is priced by the square footage of the home. We charge extra for stain work, although basic spot treatment is always included. Our window cleaning pricing is determined by whether it's interior or exterior, one, two or three stories and by the square footage of the home. Hard water work is extra. I won't post the prices here as we often make adjustments based on market conditions. Sometimes for example, we find that we're too high for a given service, so we immediately make an adjustment. Other times, we find that there may a little caveat for a certain service that results a lot of extra labor, so we'll weave that into the pricing. The best idea is to just give us a call and we can look it up in our system at that time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a Clean Trust/IICRC Certified Firm and our Technicians are individually certified. To maintain certification, we each must take CEC's every 2 years. However, at Brilliant, we re-certify internally yearly. We also have a Ongoing Education benefit at Brilliant. If a Team Member wants to take a class or get more certifications, we will pay for it - this is a great retention/training strategy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had hired service providers who always seemed to say the same things: "Well, I don't do that.....no, I don't know who does, good luck." "Oh, you didn't like the service, well, we'll return and redo it for free....fix the problem?....no, we don't fix problems, we just give away free service if someone doesn't like it." I wanted a service provider who did more than just 1 small specialty. I really needed someone who I could call and trust to get all aspects of a job done without my having to engage with 6 or 7 different providers. I also wanted a provider who knew how to problem solve and fix issues so that I didn't keep having the same problems with a provider over and over again.
