Brianne has been understanding, dedicated and is very knowledgeable. I have health conditions that affect me on a daily basis, chronic migraines, chronic pain and fibromyalgia/cfs. Part of combating the negative ramifications and impact in my life, from these issues, is having the healthiest lifestyle possible. Brianne's training has become an integral part of that process. She is able to adapt my workouts on days I'm experiencing weakness or soreness. I'm grateful to Brianne in helping me towards living a better quality of life and hopefully to strengthen my body to be able to live a more physical and productive life. Side note, I've had the opportunity to see Chris train others at various levels of fitness with different needs, and I've been impressed and would fully recommend both Brianne and Chris for whatever your personal needs and goals may be! The environment at Volition Fitness is another great aspect as working in a studio with only two Trainers and two clients is much more conducive to personal attention than a loud, large gym full people. If you are looking for a small, clean, personalized and professional gym, I highly recommend Volition Fit. All of the trainers and gym attendants are respectful and encouraging. My trainer, Haley, has been attentive and caring throughout the time I've been with her. She truly cares for her clients and wants them to succeed in and out of the gym. I want to give a shout out to Volition Fitness! I have been training there for a while now and cannot say enough good things about it. From the beginning I felt at ease in their clean and up to date studio. Chris took the time to really assess my strengths and weaknesses before giving me a routine. The programming is specific to me and my needs, is checked weekly by Chris, and changes monthly. The workouts in the studio are never the same which keeps me from getting bored! I have never left feeling like I didnt get a work out, but also have never felt like I was pushed beyond my capabilities. (That being said, Chris makes sure to challenge you!) I am amazed at my results, especially since I have worked out on my own for the last 15 years! Its obvious to see the high level of education used in my programming. Chris not only trains, but teaches. Understanding how a move benefits you and how to do it correctly is empowering! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?For our small group personal training, rates start as low as $15 per session (ranges $15-20 per hour long session, depending on # of days per week attended)! By having a large amount of equipment and space, plus a very experienced staff, we are able to conduct groups of up to 4 individuals without sacrificing the personalization and progression of "regular" personal training. For our 1 on 1 and 2 on 1 personal training options we price by session package only, no month-to-month or term commitment contract rates. Session prices range based on level of commitment to a program, but typically will be $45-55 per hour. For a 36 session package, the session rate is $45 per session. For a 12 session package, the session rate is $50 per session. For a 4 session package (minimum), the session rate is $55 per session. Group sessions are subject to the same rate structure with an additional $5 per session charge, per person. (Rates subject to change without notice. Visit our website for current rates and offers.)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initially we will sit down for a 30m-1hr consultation where we will discuss goals, our approach, and generally get to know each other and see if we will be a good fit. During this time, we may perform initial assessments, including body composition measurement (body fat, girth measurements, weight, etc.), general health assessment (blood pressure, resting HR, cardiovascular assessments), and specific assessment (related to your goals). After our first session together, we will begin to construct a program to fit your needs. This process is on-going and unique to each individual, assessing movement patterns and strengths/weaknesses as we move along. With our knowledge and experience, we begin to construct a program tailored to your goals with an approach that is safe, scientifically sound, and rapidly progressive.
