I always loved doing Yoga at Yoga Heart Studio. The first time that I did yoga was here and I fell in love. Erica always makes people feel okay with not knowing what they're doing. She's very descriptive and helpful and does a great job at making sure everyone gets the idea. She is great at keeping the class on track, but she is goofy which helps make the students feel comfortable and excited to come to class.
Kalynn is an excellent yoga instructor (and a great person). She is patient with the instruction but challenged me to do my best. I never thought I'd even do yoga much less enjoy it.
Lisa and Chema are awesome acro yoga teachers! They work with you so that you are comfortable but also challenge you to push your limits in a safe way. Great vibes, great flow. I highly recommend them for beginners and experts alike.
Pamela is a great trainer. She knows how to motivate and encourage. Her ability to zone in on one's strengths and weaknesses is a large benefit of her training skills. Due to working with her, I walked 2.5 miles today and biked 6 miles. I also do body pump and yoga. And....I am old enough to be retired. She is a good choice when looking for a personal trainer.
I did the 20 day yoga challenge in Oct 2015. I was skeptical that I would be able to get out of bed to make it for 6 am yoga every day, but I found myself actually looking forward to it! Corrine makes yoga accessible to all levels.
Very friendly, and very knowledgeable!!

I have been a yoga teacher for 15 years and personal trainer for 25 years. I help people realize their limitless potential through yoga/meditation. Traditional weight/cardio training is also part of my business, if the client wants that as well. Get strong from the inside and out! I teach private yoga and meditation to people who are healing their lives from the inside and out. I am also a personal trainer and can train people with weights and various workouts to achieve the body that they feel best walking around in.
Yoga for Life provides classes for beginners and mixed levels and a women-only workshop on Saturdays! Some of the classes provide some Pilates, along with the yoga! The environment is very warm and pleasant. Our instructors are very helpful and nice.
I am a Boise based certified yoga instructor. As a student, yoga changed my life so much. I wanted to share that feeling with others! I see so many people struggle with different issues: physical, mental, and emotional. Not sharing this amazing practice seemed selfish. I can provide private and group yoga classes in Yin and Vinyasa yoga, including my favorite the famous "26 poses" essential to a healthy lifestyle.

She has also trained directly under Sumit Banerjee, creator of Sumits Yoga franchise. Brandy specializes in teaching hatha and vinyasa yoga.

Stefanie studied for 5 weeks in Bali, Indonesia learning the foundations of alignment and sequencing with Yoga teacher trainer, Alicia Cheng. The students journaled about spirituality and studied the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, exploring more subtle meanings of life and moving deeper into your subconscious. Learning stillness and peace, compassion, acceptance, forgiveness... the yoga experience benefits people in so many ways.
Yoga is known to help manage stress! Deep breathing allows for us to think clearly and feel rejuvenated. It also allows us to be less reactive in all situations!

I am in the business of helping people, particularly with yoga. Yoga is a powerful practice to enhance and enrich your life. My class is designed to align you, beginning with the body, the breath and the mind. Eventually every movement becomes an offering to our creator, the divine.
As a lifelong athlete, I began competing in running and skiing events at the age of eight. At age of 12, I began teaching kids how to ski and continued teaching and coaching for the next 12 years in a variety of areas like skiing, swimming, and aerobics, as well as movement therapy for autistic children. Teaching was my outlet and fueled me through high school and college. At Michigan State, I earned my BS in exercise science, while also maintaining a separate focus on psychology and nutrition. At every level, I stayed deeply involved as an athlete, coach, and trainer with adults and children of all ages. My teaching skills later contributed to my promotions during my career as a marketing and sales professional in the field of ultrasound. During my career, I developed education programs and conducted training seminars for both sales and medical professionals. I studied with many of the top professionals in the industry and was involved in both clinical research and product development. I loved taking difficult data and making it accessible to everyone in a simple, easy-to-understand format. For the past 10 years, I have been a student of yoga, with the last three years being the most influential for me. From the first class I took, I knew that I wanted the opportunity to share the practice of yoga with others. When my youngest child started preschool, I met Debbi Murphy with Shanti Yoga School, and I knew my chance had arrived. These past three years have been an exciting and sometimes difficult journey. I worked hard to experience as many different styles and teachings of yoga as I could during my 500 RYT (registered yoga therapist) program. I soon learned that yoga has so much to offer to every level of student. During the course of my studies, I started working with Matt Booth, PT, DPT and OCS of Therapeutic Associates. Through his work and guidance, I became infatuated with the recent research in fascia. The knowledge of the fascia has expanded exponentially in the past 20 years, with advances in technology that are allowing real-time study and observation of the whole body system of fascia. Ironically, ultrasound plays a key role in this. My studies with Robert Schleip, director of the Fascial Research Group and Divo Muller, movement teacher for Fascial Fitness Congress, propelled me further in my study of yoga and its symbiotic relationship with fascia. After completing my certification from the Fascial Fitness Society, I realized I had only scratched the surface of the delicate and intertwined relationship between the science of yoga and the fascial body. Tom Myers, author of Anatomy Trains, has heavily influenced my style of practice with his work on the anatomy trains and sports medicine, which is something that I am excited to study further and share with others. I have had the opportunity to study with some amazing yoga teachers, and I have tremendous gratitude for the knowledge and experience that they bring to the practice of fluid, powerful, and graceful movement. I hope my practice and teachings offer a reflection of the work of these teachers: Sadie Nardini, Tiffany Cruikshank, and Micheline Berry. For teen yoga, I completed my studies with Christy Brock. For Yin yoga, I continue my studies and practice with Bernie Clark. My intention is to teach a vinyasa flow with organic movement and the principle of fascial fitness. Currently, I am the only RYT 500 Yoga and certified fascial fitness trainer in the United States. I am teaching these classes to teens and adults in the Greater Boise area. In conjunction with this, I am living a joyful life with my husband, three children, and a small zoo of pets. Movement is the meditation, and how we decide to access movement through our lifetime for health and well-being is one of the reasons why I teach yoga. Our movements are a unique expression of ourselves and reflections of our life experiences. The practice of yoga asana, meditation and pranayama offers us the tools to live happier, healthier lives. My philosophy is to always be learning as a student while developing as a teacher. I hope to learn something new everyday and share this with you in our practice of yoga.
I teach group and one-on-one yoga along with private personal training. I help clients find a workout routine that works best for their lifestyle. My focus in yoga is a hatha-based vinyasa flow; it's a little more fast paced but focused on form and alignment. I have a wide variety of skills and experience to help clients reach their goals and have a great time doing it! I'm also a nutritionist and can help with meal planning, prepping and the ins and outs of healthy eating.
