Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I'll work with you on an individual basis to figure out what inspires you, what makes you happy, and what does the best job of bringing out your personality. I'll search high and low for the right props, set, or graphics to make your project everything you envision. Finally, I give you ownership over your product. I keep the original files indefinitely, but I give you ownership over the images or videos so you are free to share as many as you like in whatever way you choose. I'm I love working with people and creating a product that they absolutely love and will share with their family and friends. It's so rewarding to see everything you love about your family members captured in an unforgettable way, and I am reenergized every time I get to make that happen for someone. I love the creative challenge of making your story uniquely yours!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is based on a reasonable hourly rate plus equipment and travel expenses. Although I have a general hourly rate, when we sit down to go over your story and the way you want it told we'll agree to a price and set it into our contract. My basic prices don't include any prints, but I am certainly able to be the middleman for prints if you'd like. Usually local superstores have great photo printing set up, and so ordering the prints online isn't always your most cost-efficient option.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My most common jobs so far are senior portraits, baby/one year old photography, baby videos, and family portraits.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It might be tempting to go with the cheapest photographer/videographer/designer, but the best thing you can do for yourself is look at their blog, if they have one. Their portfolio is their absolute best work, and if you'll notice there are only a few select projects that make it to the portfolio. The average person that uses their services will only get an average effort from them - a "C" if you will, or a 70% effort. However, if they have a regularly updated blog, that means they are putting 100% into each project, and they believe that every piece of art they create is worth a feature on their blog. The website is a big deal too, for obvious reasons - but it stands true that someone who wants to be represented well by you will give you their best work, 100% of the time. It's worth the extra cash for someone that won't drop the ball, especially when you've worked hard on your event, family, degree, or business.
