- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price per square. On a roof thats 100 sq ft. for both the tearoff and the install.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I go the the site and do a free initial consultation to hear and understand any perspective clients needs and so I can evaluate the job(in most cases). Then I place a bid based on the job needs. Time, supply cost, wage, overhead, etc. If contract is won I draw up contract and invoice. Then I get a work approval. Then I schedule a appropriate available time with customer to do the job and we arrange supply's and once both of those are ready. We get to work. All services are paid once the job is completed to customers satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Two years vocational school for carpentry. Then Red Rocks Community College carpentry class. That was a six month certification. 15 years working in the carpentry, painting, and maintenance industry's.
