- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Music Monkey Productions is not your average "cookie cutter" DJ service. We recognize no two events are the same, and we have packages available to suit a small, intimate event or a crowd with over 1,000 guests! Let us customize the perfect package for YOUR next event!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's all about what YOUR vision. We will ask a few questions to learn more about your event, then we will recommend a couple different packages to fit your vision and your needs. At the end of the day, it's your vision, your budget, and your decision. After you decide what best fits your needs, we will draft an agreement and ask for a deposit to hold the date with the remaining balance due on or before the day of your event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This isn't really an industry where education and/or training can give a person the skills necessary to read a crowd. Either you have it or you don't. That being said, experience is CRITICAL and only time can give a DJ experience. I also play several instruments and my business partner is a professional singer & songwriter which I feel gives us a real edge knowing which songs will fit together. Another "edge" comes from technical knowledge. I also have over 25 years working with technology and own a Audio / Visual company (home theater, pro sound, automation, etc...) That additional knowledge has crossed over to benefit Music Monkey Productions. We like to think technology will always work, but when it doesn't and things aren't going as planned, the technical knowledge kicks in and we have always been able to keep things running smoothly.
