Introduction: Learn the drums from a teacher with experience. I offer drum lessons for all ages and skill levels. Whether you want to improve your current skills, or are picking up the sticks for the first time, I can teach you what you want to learn. I've been giving drum lessons for over a decade to more than 100 students, from ages 3 to 65. I teach all styles - rock, jazz, orchestral/symphonic, funk, Latin, punk, blues, hip hop, etc., with an emphasis on proper technique, 4-limb freedom, reading music and counting rhythms, creativity, and musical application - all in a friendly and productive environment. As a drummer, I have extensive experience touring across the US, UK and Europe, and the songs that I've drummed on can be heard in TV shows on networks like E!, CBS, ABC, MTV, History Channel and CW. I teach from my home studio in Addison, IL. Rates are $30 for 30 minutes, $40 for 45 minutes (recommended time), and $50 for 60 minutes. I also do at-home lessons, if scheduling permits.
