In addition to providing great strength training, cardio exercise and diet information, Gary is very knowledgeable about working with clients recovering from injuries. He has safely and effectively guided us back to full health after we have completed phycial therapy. His one on one training, attention to individual needs and cutting edge technique, makes him a standout in this field.

I've been training with Taran since early this year and I can honestly say that he is very motivating, and genuinely nice. You can see and feel how much he loves what he does. He is not only professional, incredibly knowledgeable about exercises, movement, anatomy but he also has an incredible energy that could motivate you to do better. He is full of great advice and helpful suggestions and is watching every minute of the session making needed corrections or finessing the exercise to my individual needs. Nick is one of the few personal trainers I worked with who is focused on his clients health goals. He has excellent knowledge on different excercises and variations in them to tackle each and every muscle of a body. Added to that is his knowledge on nutritions which helped me to achieve my health goals in a better and healthier way. After my son was bullied by 6 boys, I decided it was time to seek self defense classes. At first visit to ATF&MA, it was an intense scene of 15-20 people doing stick fighting drills. Seeing this and also being a fan of Bruce Lee, I knew we were in the right place. We were initially there for my son but I knew immediately that this was also something I wanted to do. Coming off a 2 year couch potato session, we were immediately partaking in physical conditioning in addition to learning self defense techniques of Jeet Kune Do. Within a few weeks I was no longer feeling like I was going to die during the physical workouts and was actually more energetic, confident and mentally clear from the workouts, as was my son. Elliott is an exceptional trainer. He takes the time to explain and is patient in going over moves as many times as it takes until it sinks in. All of the classmates are fun and friendly and supporting of each other whether one is a beginner or an advanced participant. The training is a blast and is one of the best things I've ever done. I'm happy for the positive, energetic, and motivating atmosphere and environment. In addition to the above, Elliott is also a motivating and inspiring speaker in sharing relevant life events and also provides videos of each lesson for practice outside of class. I would recommend this training to anyone.
I have been working with Dan for years! He knows his stuff! He researches and creates workouts focused on the needs of each of his clients. Dan develops workouts that target and strengthen the weaker areas of my body, as well as working on general strength training and cardio.
My goal when I starting working with Tony was to get stronger so I could ski again and now Im going on my third ski trip! Tony is professional and passionate about his work. He is not a one size fits all trainer. With his vast knowledge of the musculature of the body he creates individual workout plans for each client, keeping workouts interesting, challenging and goal oriented. He also encourages healthy eating and doing cardio on non workout days. Tony has a positive attitude, he cares about his clients, and he is warm and friendly. Tonys energy and enthusiasm for working out are contagious and motivating. Ive become stronger and healthier because of Tony. I love training with him.
I started training with Michele this past year and words cannot begin to describe how wonderful she is as both a trainer and person. In a very short period of time I feel close to her and totally trust my fitness is in great hands. My cardio endurance and attitude about my self-image are on the rise since I started training.
