FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are very fair! Depending on the job, I will either give a price that relates to the specific work or I will charge by the hour. If no exact estimate can be foreseen I will try my best to give you a ballpark range. Every first call will include the thumbtack fee and please note,. even if no work is done if I come to your house to give an estimate that is $150 for the service call. The service call fee reflects my time used, travel, and you having the time slot. I also do not have any employees yet so my rates can be lower than electricians with a crew. In the rare event that I do come out and there is no response when I arrive, I will wait and contact you for 30 minutes to give you a chance to contact me back for a reschedule or even for you to show up. I will wait for you! However, if I don’t hear from you at all during that time period the service call fee of $150 will apply to make up for my lost time and gas and for you having reserved that time slot from me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do not run from the work, I run to the work! The same can be said for my customer relationships. I am positive, kind, and I listen to any and all concerns someone may have to address it properly. I will take this into consideration when doing my work to ensure you (my customer) will be the most satisfied possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the Industrial Electricity and Electronics program at Ranken Technical College in 2001. I have 26 years total experience with all types of electricity (industrial, residential, and commercial) and for 16 years of my career I also did maintenance work.
