Introduction: Registered CPA in Illinois. Pricing is on a fixed rate based on assessment, I don't get caught up with time spent on correspondence. I will not recommend a service if not necessary. An authorized IRS e-file provider since 2004 and listed on the IRS.treasury.gov website. I have been preparing tax returns since 2003. I work full time as an accountant. Can file in any state. Customer service focused, easily accessible, easy to work with, reliable, deadline driven, integrity, honesty but perhaps just as important.....my pricing is very competitive!! I anticipate issues, forecast bottom line toward end of the year to allow for year end adjustments. My view is that my clients as partners in achieving a goal. I stay in my clients "back pocket' throughout the year communicating and responding to questions. Building relationships and developing trust from my clients and getting the job done right

We love Greg, he has been very patient and helpful with us. We are new business owners and we have not been very organized; we definitely have a lot to learn. He is very professional and punctual, he is straightforward and well-informed and responds very well to several forms of communication- texts, calls, emails, Thumbtack messages. He has good knowledge of Quickbooks, is extremely flexible when it comes to meeting, and understands that as new business owners we don't have a lot of money to play with. My experience with Greg was great!! I am a small business owner of less than a year. My bookkeeping skills weren't exactly up to standards of file and print. He was very helpful with helping me understand what I needed to make sure filing taxes was easier. He was very patient with me, considering the fact that I called and texted him with every question that came to mind. Since I work 6 days a week Greg was very accommodating by driving at least an hour away to help me prepare my paperwork to file my taxes. He gave me tons of information regarding future tax filings, great accounting tips and tips on how to make my business run smoother financially.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fixed rates based on needs. I will not pressure you into a service you do not need. I charge separately for annual filings, payroll filings, payroll processing, sales tax filings, bookkeeping, reviews of books, manage receivables, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Start with a phone call as an introduction. Followed up with a face to face intro. I want to meet you and learn about you and the business. I can provide more than just bookkeeping or tax work. continually look for tax savings opportunities, streamline processes, anticipate potential issues and forecast toward year end so that we have a reasonable estimate of what the bottom line looks like. I will text and email you with questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do online training every year through my tax software company, I enjoy the research. Started to prepare to become an Enrolled Agent.
