- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Dear potential customers! If you know approximately the size of your project (+/- 50 Square Feet) and what needs to be done, you may be able to estimate the approximate cost of your project, and see if you can afford it or not. The largest and the most common charges are listed bellow. LABOR: • Carper Removal and Disposal $0.65/SF • Laminate (floating) flooring removal and disposal $1/SF • Hardwood floor removal and disposal $2/SF • Ceramic tile removal and disposal $3-4/SF • Nail-down Installation of Prefinished hardwood floor $3/SF • Glue-down Installation of Prefinished hardwood floor $6/SF • Nail-down Installation of Unfinished hardwood floor $2.50/SF • Glue-down Installation of Unfinished hardwood floor $4.50/SF • Subfloor (3/4” Plywood) Installation $2.50/SF • Subfloor (Concrete) Leveling $500/day + cost of leveling compound • Refinishing of Hardwood Floor (sanding, staining, coating) $4/SF • Any Job 500 SF or Less are apprised as 500 SF job (for instance, a 100SF-job would cost as much as a 500SF-job) • Base-shoe replacement (primed or wood) $1.25-$2/LF • Base-boards replacement (Primed or Wood) $6-$10/LF • Repairs minimum charge $600 per day or visit MATERIALS (sales tax included): • Unfinished Hardwood flooring (size: 2-1/4”or 3-1/4”) approx. $3.30/SF • Prefinished Hardwood flooring (size: 2-1/4”or 3-1/4”) approx. $5.50 - $7.70 • Moldings (size: 3-1/4”or 5-1/4”) $1-2/LF • Supplies, stains and finishes are included in the LABOR cost *Please be advised that the pricing provided above is for flooring standard sizes 2-1/4” or 3-1/4” only. The custom sizes (4”, 5” or more) to be apprised after estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Dear potential customers! Here is what you should expect when working with us: 1. We come for On-site estimate 2. We email You the Quote 3. If the quote is approved, we schedule the project 3. Before the beginning of the project we sign contract and take the deposit (100% for materials and 40% for the labor) 4. We order materials and have them delivered (handled inside the house) 5. We begin project 6. Upon the completion of the project we charge the balance of 60% for the labor.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We constantly receiving multiple professional trainings in flooring installation, sanding, staining and finish applications. The trainings are provided by NWFA and other educational institutions in the flooring industry.
