- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to stay updated on all phases of my career, Real Estate is ever changing. At least 3 times a year a take CE classes and try to get a designation or 2 once a year. my license requires CE every two years upon my renewal. I believe Knowledge is Power, and everyone should take classes to either imporve your career or personal growth. You will never stop learning as long as you pursue it. Life is a learning process, and through our mistakes and trials and tribulations we become great leaders in our communities.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview experienced licensees. Just because they have not "Sold" as many houses as you would like in the past year, does not mean they have not. I personally have been working on my education as a priority for my Brokerage skills. But I have been selling since 1996 my average was 31-36 homes a year and I was a Top Producer for 5 years. In today's real estate market, with over 70,0000 Real Estate Licensees throughout the State, only 30 of them are actually selling/closing per month. I have also been training real estate agents and mentoring them. I have been coordinating files for Realtors, Sellers and buyers, so I have actually been "hand holding" the above to get the files to closing. And I am a Certified Notary which means I complete closings for Major U.S.Title companies and Bank/Mortgage Companies.
