Chris and his team built a 18’ X 20’ deck on the back of my house. We love the deck. His work is of very good quality and he was very professional. I have a great deck to enjoy for the next 30 years. They cleaned up afterwards and left the work area nice and do neat. Thank you

Very happy with EMJ for their work building a covered front porch on our house. I had to get drawings elsewhere but EMJ worked with the village to answer questions about the build and further requirements to add to the drawings. The deck is very sturdy and they had no issues passing inspections. They were also very nice, professional, and easy to work with. Highly recommend them!

EMJ is the absolute best carpenter I have ever hired and I’ve worked with many. Christian and Marco are the best hands down. They’re extremely professional, very experienced, and super nice and easy to deal with. The work quality is second to none. I have not written a review for anyone before simply bc contractors will always find a way to screw the customer over. NOT WITH EMJ!!!! Those guys are the real deal. Hire them with confidence. They’ll show up every day and take responsibility to their job. I’ll hire them again in a heart beat. Thank you so much guys. My new Trex deck looks amazing. You were able to find creative solutions for all the problems you faced with an aging deck and very old structure. I will recommend you to my family and friends any day and I wish you nothing but growth and continued success. You truly deserve it.

Cristian did an amazing job on balcony! My original balcony is 30'x8' and the wood was start to rot and in dire need a replacement. Cristian was very responsive and came to quote the project within 24 hours and helped me pick out the materials. The job was done from start to finish (project quote, ordering materials, labor) in two weeks. I chose to go with Trex composite material instead of wood. Cristian not only demolitioned the old wood but he also built a new support structure, cleaned the gutters and helps to seal a tear in the membrane under the decking. Cristian does quality work, very punctual and honest. He was a delight to work with and made the entire project smooth and seamless. I highly recommend hiring Cristian. I chose to hire him for the job as his previous reviews have all been positive and he absolutley lives up to feedback provided from his previous projects. Also, he loves dogs which is just a bonus in by book!
