Even before the job began, it started with Vince saving me a good deal of money on a generator. I had located him on Thumbtack to install a generator inlet box (and breaker interlock) and wire it to my load center so I'd be able to feed the entire electrical panel and turn on a number of essential 120V loads during a power outage. While texting about the job he clued me into a really nice generator that had just gone on sale, for more than 50% off. I was, at the time, looking at lots of larger generators that frankly would have been more hassle, given what my actual goals were. Now that I've researched more I see he did guide me into an optimal pick for my needs. I now have an emergency gen that can run my refrigerator, deep freeze, sump pump, house lights, television, etc. Vince attached the inlet (and wired the conduit neatly, out the bottom of the power meter (not a new hole through the wall), and installed the interlock on the panel. I had a lot of questions and concerns but he had the answers and was very patient and engaging. Vince clearly loves his work and its evident in his dealings. He even figured out an issue with my dining room lights that had been vexing me for a few years, and fixed it easily (no additional charge). Vince is the kind of person you hope you get when you call in a professional. He and his wife Jen were wonderful to work with, and I'd definitely not hesitate to call him again.
