- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always provide my customers the best price, but I am not a discount travel agent. I work with customers who want quality over price. I do not price match. Although there is no fee to use my services, my experience and time has value that online agencies don't provide the same level of experience I offer and provide for all of my clients. I can't redeem hotel or airline points, book VRBO type houses, and do not price match from online travel booking engines.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you reach out I will contact you for the best time to talk on the phone. I find it much easier to schedule a 15 min chat than keep emailing lots of questions. Since very trip is customizable, I will have lots of questions. It's always important to know your times of travel, possible destination and budget. I only work with clients who have 4k to travel, but my average trip is 8k. If you only want to communicate via text or email, we probably aren't a good match. After the phone call, we can switch to text or email for more efficient communication.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
CTA certified, which is a 80 hour training course only given to the most educated and dedicated travel agents in the US. Less than 10% of travel agents have this certification. I have specialized training in cruises, Europe, Mexico, Caribbean, and all inclusive resorts.
