My daughter learned to play the flute with Mrs. Wilt. From day one it was an amazing experience. She took lessons for six years with Mrs. Wilt, and learned not only the technique of playing the flute properly, but also some music theory as well. Mrs. Wilt has very unique methods of introducing the flute to brand new students who have never played the flute to seasoned players as well. My daughter's experience went far beyond our expectations, and her performance on the flute was technically sound and beautiful to listen to as well.

Mrs Wilt is the best. She has been my teacher for 7 years (and more to come). She teaches a lot while making music fun too. She goes over music theory, works on breathing excercises to hold out notes for as long as possible, and challenges me every lesson to strive to do my best. Mrs Wilt has encouraged me to participate in many contests and tryout for different orchestras which have been successful because of her awesome teachings. I ranked 1st place three times at my schools ensemble where I played challenging pieces that have helped me get to the place I am now. Thank you Mrs Wilt for doing all you've done for me.

I have known Patricia Wilt for more than 12 years. She is a talented, professional, patient, and caring music teacher (mostly private lessons) and certified music therapist. She is dedicated to enhancing her students' love for music, while making learning music fun for students of all ages and abilities. Her students consistently rank in high levels in their school music programs and at contests. Although it was not one of her main instruments (flute, piano, guitar), she helped my son improve on his trumpet skills while sharing her love of music and music theory. I highly recommend her services. You will be happy that you chose her to be your child's teacher.

Yes, I have a standard pricing system. The lenghth of the lesson determines how much is payed for the lesson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, the first lesson is a get to know you and see what you already know lesson. I also start to teach important concepts that will be helpful at future lessons. After making sure lesson material is understood, I assign it for the next week.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I have attended workshops and conferences to learn more. I am constantly looking to learn new ideas to help people learn the skillful art of music.
