I've been doing this since 2014 and have officiated almost 800 weddings since then. This is my fourth year, as a Best of Weddings winner from TheKnot.com and my 6th year as a Couples Choice winner from Wedding Wire. Cris was awesome! After a very bad encounter with our initial pick for an officiant, Cris stepped up and met me almost immediately. He dealt with me changing locations at the park we were married at, he coordinated standing positions with the photographer, he was very good with our 2 year old son who took a fall afterwards, he even checked in the next day to make sure he was better. Cris was very responsive and dealt with me changing the script a few times. He coached us on how to change my name. Our wedding was very small, but Cris still treated us as if we were having a large ceremony. Thank you so much Cris! Pics to come!

Cris was extremely personable and responsive. We made a few changes to the ceremony throughout the process and he was very accommodating and quick to help. During the rehearsal he had great tips to help us stay calm and relaxed, and got along great with the entire wedding party/family. We really enjoyed working with Cris and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great officiant.

Our wedding ceremony was held at Ritz Carlton. It was 40-45 minute ceremony. Chris did and outstanding job, he has no hidden fees and doesn't charge like the crazy amounts like other officiants does. Cris is officiating my wedding in March. He is quick to respond and was very helpful in organizing the ceremony. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Weddings can range from 200 to 400 dollars. Rehearsals are typically 50 to 100.00. Elopements/License signings are far less. Mileage fees apply outside the Metro St Louis area.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with an introductory phone call or email, then have them complete an online questionnaire. Then we meet to review and finalize the contract. After the contract is signed and the retainer is paid (50% of total amount), the first draft is created. As many revisions will be done as needed for the couple to be completely satisfied.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Dr of Divinity Degree as well as a Bachelor of Science. I regularly attend webinars, conferences, etc. on the latest trends in Wedding Ceremonies and working with a diverse range of couples.
