- What types of customers have you worked with?
Top Hat Entertainment provides all kinds of entertainment from a simple singing telegram to a multi day major corporate event and show. We have entertainers for children, nightclubs, casinos, private member only clubs, small mom and pop businesses, major corporations and festivals.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Top Hat's CEO and national touring entertainer is very proud and honored to have preformed for the world invited launch guests of the flight crew of Space Shuttle Discovery STS-119 at Cape Canaveral. They were so pleased with his performance they invited him to watch the launch just 4.5 miles form the pad. A honor exclusively allowed for the family of the astronauts. Our CEO, Greg Rini said, "it was second only to the birth of his child!"
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are long term and highly experienced professionals that do this business full time like Top Hat Entertainment. There are also people with absolutely no experience that open this kind of service and do it as a hobby and part time. How important is your event? Don't leave it in the hands of people that don't have the experience and currently don't leave it to a person that does it as a hobby. That's how you get entertainers showing up on the day of your event that are embarrassing or dull or maybe don't show up at all! Then what? Too late to call for backup! Do you let the entertainer just go on so you have something or turn them away and have nothing for your guests. Top Hat has been in the full time entertainment business for over 34 years and it is solely owned by a full time and nationally touring entertainer, Greg Rini. Greg has produced small events to a $38K show at a resort. He worked for legendary, Dick Clark in the 80s and learned a lot from undisputedly one of the best producers of entertainment ever! For children's shows, he has a 22 year old Daughter that he has had to provide entertainment for when she was growing. He has learned what works and what seams to be great ideas that turn out to be a total bust.
