Introduction: Do you need special music for your wedding ceremony or banquet? Our quartet can help you! Krannert Quartet is established by four professional musicians with graduate music degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We are very experienced playing in weddings, receptions, banquets, funerals, and other occasions. We offer reasonable rates and flexible schedules. For weddings, our service usually includes music for prelude, processional, recessional, union candle and, possibly, reception (extra). We have a wide range of wedding music selections, as well as a variety of classical, dance, Broadway, folk, and pop music repertoire. We can also arrange any favorite music selections for string quartet.

Ka-Wai and Luyan (from the Krannert Quartet) performed at our wedding and we couldn't be happier with their performance. Their music was flawless and beautiful. I was also pleased with their professionalism before and during the wedding. Not to mention, their price was better than all of the other musicians we talked to. Prior to the wedding, they were very easy to work with. They listened to our needs and delivered exactly what we asked for without requiring any effort or oversight on our part. I would definitely recommend these two fine musicians for anybody at any event.

Ka-Wai Yu played at my wedding on October 20th, 2012 with the Krannert Quartet. He was wonderful. His music completely filled the large church and left people in amazement. The classical music really set the tone for the entire wedding. I would recommend his talents and would like to hear him again.

Ka-Wai Yu and Lydia Tang played for our wedding at the Chapel of St. John the Divine on the U of I campus. It was a small ceremony and their music provided the perfect accent to the service. Working with him was a real pleasure. He was very prompt, agreeable and very professional at all times. The music was perfect and everyone attending agreed that it was very enjoyable.
