Law Office of Jeffrey R. Esser
About this pro
The two things I hear most from former clients, is that they like how patient I am and how I am able to communicate the law without making things too simple or too complex. My clients hire me to get them through a difficult time in their life. I always give them the time to listen to them and make sure I understand how I can serve them in the best way. And I always make sure they understand their options under the law.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? All attorneys have to complete 30 hours of education every two years to keep their license. That's the minimum--I go way beyond that. I usually attend a full-day continuing education seminar every 1 or 2 months. No lawyer has seen it all or done it all. There is always something more to learn and practice areas that every lawyer could be more knowledgeable about.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work? You need to be comfortable with the attorney you hire. Comfortable with their personality, how clean or messy their office is, how they do business and their knowledge level and experience. You need meet them face to face and they should be able to answer basic questions about your case in a way that you understand without using jargon or confusing you. Finallys, remember that the best attorneys never need to pressure potential clients into hiring them.
